This property, built in 1887 by Wilhelm Haussmann, is a stepped cellar which exploits the natural slope of the site. It was known as the "new" cellar.

From the presses up on the vineyard the must ran down the hill through a pre-cellar located to the side and from there into the fermentation cellar below. Following racking the must was then transferred for refining and ageing into two parallel storage cellars below, both of them impressive tunnel vaults.

To increase storage capacity, concrete tanks lined with glass tiles were installed prior to the First World War. A pre-cellar for storing equipment leads into the double vaulted cellar at the rear.
